Objectives
The General Insurance Association of Barbados Inc. is the trade association which represents its members in consultations with Government, other regulatory bodies and other interest groups.
The objectives of the Association are:

To bring together those who transact General Insurance business in Barbados in order to afford opportunities for consultation and co-operation an all matters affecting their common interests.

To secure the advancement of the business of General Insurance in Barbados on a sound basis and to encourage the highest standards of professional etiquette and ethics in the insurance industry.

To create a better understanding of insurance among all sectors of the community.

To act as a medium of consultation with the Government of Barbados on legislation and other matters.
